This baby is one lucky girl!

She has two grandmas that are very creative! Grandma Foley made her this beautiful quilt and Grandma Miller hand painted her a bunch of adorable onsies. Etsy.com has nothing on this girl!

Baby Miller at 29 weeks!

At our ultrasound this week the doctor told us Baby Miller is weighing in at 4 lbs 2 oz already. He said she also has long legs (80th percentile) and everything looks good. I think she looks like Jon. :) Here's the photo:

26 Weeks and Working on the Nursery!!

Happy New Year!! I cannot believe its 2010 already! We had our 26 week appointment on Monday. Everything went well. I have to go for the glucose test next week. I have to fast the two hours before, drink this white liquid, wait an hour and then they take my blood. Sounds like a blast. Fingers crossed that I pass. If I don't then I go back for a three hour glucose test.

Jon and I signed up for a series of classes that start on January 20th. Apparently they cover it all so hopefully we will be ready to go come April! Besides all that Jon did a great job cleaning out the office and painting the nursery PINK. Now we are just waiting on the furniture and are trying to find a good rug. Anyone have any good suggestions? I never thought it would be this hard to find a rug! Here are some pics of the bump at 26 weeks (my mom bought me this cute tank top. I don't think its going to fit much longer):

22 Weeks

We had an appointment on Monday. Everything went well. It was the first time the tape measure came out. She said I'm supposed to measure the same in centimeters as the weeks I am pregnant plus or minus 3. I was right at 22! I'm definitely feeling her move around, especially after I eat or when I'm on the couch watching TV. Here's a picture taken on Wednesday:

Carmel California for Jon's birthday

Jenni decided to surprise me for my birthday with a trip to Carmel. We left town on Friday and headed north. When we arrived in Carmel we checked into the Tradewinds hotel and caught a late dinner at Casanova (The mushrooms in garlic and wine sauce were amazing). On Saturday, our friends Rich and Cristina came down from San Francisco and brought their daughter Rachael. As you can see below, she entertained us the entire day. She makes us look really forward to having our own daughter.  On Saturday night, we went out to dinner at Mission Ranch with Cristina's parents, Don and Wendy. Mission Ranch is owned by Clint Eastwood and is also where Rich and Cristina got married. It was nice to be with great company in such a beautiful place.

On Sunday, we drove up to Monterey and went to the Aquarium. I had never been to Monterey or the aquarium before and found both to be impressive. After the aquarium, we drove back to Carmel via 17 mile drive. We took our time pulling over to take in the sites of the rugged California coastline. We stopped for lunch at the lodge at Pebble Beach (definitely need to play golf there one day). We capped off the trip by catching a November sunset over Carmel beach. Everyone in the town had the same idea. Kids and dogs ran up and down the beach while the parents took in the sights. It was nice to feel the crisp fall air of Northern California and a great way to end the weekend.

18 Weeks! And only 5 days until we find out if we are having a Boy or a Girl!!

We had our 18 week check-up on Monday. The heartbeat sounded great. We finally asked what the heartrate was to see if the old wive's tale is true about the heartrate predicting the sex. She told us it was 150 so that would mean a girl. We will see if that's right in 5 days!!

I'm not really fitting into my regular clothes anymore but the maternity stuff is too big so getting dressed in the morning is a challenge. I'm sure that will change qickly! Here is a picture Jon took last night after a big dinner. :)
